A bit about me
Who am I?
I'm a 24 year old interior architect and designer based in Manchester, with a love for design, calming aesthetics and coffee. I love minimal and monochrome designs but always appreciate a variety of design styles - as shown in my portfolio of completed projects. I am always being inspired with new images through social media, exploring places in the city and new adventures to different cities and countries.
I enjoy new challenges, designing beautiful things, good food and living in the moment.
What do I do?
My responsibilities as a designer vary; from the initial design process, all the way through to planning and handing finished projects over to clients. Full drawing packages using AutoCAD and bespoke detail drawings are completed, along with specifications and a schedule of works. Ordering furniture and materials are then done, ready for site visits and finishing off a project ready for the client. I like to think of myself as an adaptable and versatile designer, but still convey my own personal design opinions into the process.
I also think socialising with other designers and suppliers is a fundamental part of this industry (or any!) and making new connections wherever you go.
What have I done?
Aside from achieving my bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture & Design from NTU, I have had an amazing few years of industry experience working in hospitality and retail design. My repertoire of projects that I have been involved with shows a variety of schemes and briefs from clients, which have all been great practice and allowed me to learn first-hand. I am glad that my experience as a designer has a wide range and I hope it continues to do so.

Currently: Freelance Residential
Always wanting to keep busy and continue to design and learn, I began freelancing in Residential design; a sector I had not had experience in before. Now, I'm fully immersed in several projects, learning what the client wants and how it can be produced.
Work includes concept sketching, CAD drawings for planning, mood boards and design packages, and 3D models and visualisation for the most effective method of communication with the client.
